from Minnows to Sunfish

So many changes going on these days!

Luke is cruising around pretty fearlessly now! He's also crawling around on all fours about 90% of the time.

The biggest accomplishment of the week was walking on his own behind his little airplane. Check out our video of the action:

At daycare, he is transitioning from the Minnows room up to the Sunfish room. What a big boy! It is a pretty exciting change for him and I think he really likes it! Now that he isn't in the baby room, he gets to do lots of fun activities, art projects, sing songs, etc. The most amazing part is that he's been taking naps with his new class... on a mat (not crib)... and he sleeps the whole time (meaning three hours a day).

It also seems as though he's on the cusp of making some major headway in the language department. He's babbling like crazy! Most of his words are "doh, dal, dah, etc." but with varying emphasis. When he waves bye bye, it is "dah, dah". The word "ball" is "doh". He says it with such intention! It is hilarious! He'll also copy some things - if I say "mah, mah, mah", he'll say "mah, mah, mah" back.

It is so fun to watch the little guy grow and change!
